We rolled back into the Duke City, surprising my friend Page at work before arriving at my parents' house to see our pups. Then we took my parents out for their 48th anniversary; my Aunt Audrey joined us for a lobster dinner. The excitement was the end of the evening, when a fierce-looking scorpion-type creature greeted us at my aunt's door. We think it was a vinegaroon?
