Salt Lake, while perfectly nice, wasn't quite salty enough for us. So we headed south with a quick spin through Provo, and then onto Moab.
Moab, located next to Arches National Park in the southeastern part of Utah, is all tie-dye and patchouli and organic tea smoothies and funky flow-with-it. I was bummed I didn't have dreadlocks, or at least a sticker-covered mountain bike. We gobbled up a quick healthy lunch, and then drove into Arches, one mile north.
Arches. Gargantuan, brightly hued curves of rock span vast chasms and colossal buttes dot the landscape. Well done, wind, rain, gravity and time. Well done.
