Estes Park was chilly for August; snow dappled the mountains behind the Stanley. After our morning showers, the bedroom window was white with dewy condensation. Except at the bottom, where we discovered, upon opening the curtains, two distinct child's handprints and a little noseprint in the middle. No other handprints, or marks to speak of, were on the window. We were on the second floor, and the handprints were made from the inside.
Theories? Chris: "The Stanley didn't wash the windows after the last guests checked out. That, or the hotel has a small child on staff who makes handprints on every window to spook guests." Alysia: "Creepy. And if the hotel didn't wash the windows, why weren't there dozens of handprints and other marks appearing in the condensation?"

You need to submit this to the History Channel pronto! One of the better pieces of solid evidence I've seen. Pair it with your Joshua Tree ballerina pics and you've got the makings of a ghost-spotting travel guide...
